ABOUT MY APPROACH

Your experience in therapy should align with what matters to you

My approach is warm and collaborative; I take the time to get to know you and what you want from therapy.

My approach is also grounded in theories of emotion and attachment that can help you make sense of your emotions and how you relate to others. I like to move beyond talking about your problems or changing your thoughts, and move with you into more deeply exploring the key moments and experiences that shape you.

In sessions, we will take a closer look at the patterns in your emotions and relationships and gain understanding of what contributes to overwhelm or disconnection. We will build emotional awareness and learn how to explore, experience, and understand emotions in order to manage them.

With insights and a mix of reflection and helpful practices, we can also learn ways to identify your needs and be more present, manage stress, deepen self-compassion, and strengthen relationships.

Together, we’ll find ways to move towards what matters to you.
